The latest fire in Santa Barbara has taken a heavy tole on many people in my local community, 30,000 people including myself have been evacuated from our homes and work places. This morning I finally received notice that the mandatory evacuation notice was lowered to a warning for my neighborhood in downtown. I spent a comfortable weekend with family in the L.A. area, took in the new Star Trek movie, and celebrated my Mother and Grandmother on Sunday. This coming week is exciting for me as I have an opportunity to be present at ABC’s coming promo shoot for Desperate Housewives. The premier photographer is Florian Schneider whose work speaks for itself. It should be long days but a lot of fun. Best wishes to all the Mothers! We are all indebted to you.
